Did you have a nice weekend? Pretty sure it wasn’t as good as Disney’s and Marvel’s. Their superhero mash-up Avengers: Infinity War broke opening weekend records. The blockbuster raked in $250 million in North America and $630 million globally, even without China (where it opens May 11).

In sports, the NBA’s and NHL’s stars were on display as the two leagues advanced into the second round of the playoffs.

Let’s take a look at what’s happening in the sporting world…

TINK Sports Big-3

Here are three things you need to know:

1) The NBA playoffs are in full swing and its top players LeBron James and James Harden put on a show Sunday

2) The NHL playoff series are all close and may come down to game 7s

3) The NFL’s future stars were on display at its annual Draft last week

National Basketball Association (NBA)

I still got it…That’s what LeBron James, still the game’s best player, was saying as he scored 45 points to lead his Cleveland Cavaliers to a game seven victory over the scrappy Indiana Pacers.

James’ feat was even more incredible considering he is in his 15th season. The Cavs open up their second round series versus the Toronto Raptors Tuesday.

The other Eastern Conference matchup has the Boston Celtics leading the Philadelphia 76ers 1-0.

Another James, Houston’s James Harden, did his best Superman imitation Sunday. Harden, the presumptive leave MVP, scored 41 points in propelling the Houston Rockets to a 1-0 series lead over the Utah Jazz.

In the other Western Conference series, the defending champion Golden State Warriors lead the New Orleans Pelicans 1-0.

National Hockey League (NHL)

The stars are aligning for hockey fans as each of the four NHL playoff series is competitive and may go the full seven games.

Eastern Conference

The Tampa Bay Lightning and the Boston Bruins are tied 1-1 with the series shifting to Boston Wednesday. The Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins (the defending champions) are also tied 1-1.

Western Conference

After a double overtime victory Sunday, the Nashville Predators tied their series 1-1 with the Winnipeg Jets. The Las Vegas Golden Knights lead the San Jose Sharks 2-1 after a big overtime win Monday night.

National Football League (NFL)

The NFL held its annual Draft of the best college football players over the weekend. In a moderate surprise, Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, was chosen #1 by the Cleveland Browns. Penn State RB Saquon Barkley went #2 to the New York Giants, and USC’s QB Sam Darnold was chosen #3 by the New York Jets.

Brotherly love…The feel-good story of the draft was Shaqueem Griffin the outstanding linebacker from the University of Central Florida. Griffin, who had his left hand amputated at four years old, was drafted in the fifth round by the Seattle Seahawks. He can once again team up with twin brother Shaquill with whom he played in college, and who was drafted by Seattle last year.

Who are you wearing? As has become tradition, the NFL had its own version of Fashion Week at the Draft. Check out a pair of former Louisville players, Jaire Alexander and Lamar Jackson, strutting their stuff.

Major League Baseball (MLB)

Start spreading the news…The hottest team in baseball is the New York Yankees. After struggling to begin the season, the Bronx Bombers have won nine of their last ten games and closed the gap with the division leading Boston Red Sox.
