Super Bowl Sunday is less than two weeks away, and New England and Philadelphia fans are dancing with joy after the two teams punched their ticket to the game over the weekend.

Let’s take a look at what’s happening in the sports world…

TINK Sports Big-3

Here are three things you need to know:

1) The Super Bowl matchup is set: The Philadelphia Eagles will take on the New England Patriots on Sunday, December 4th

2) The Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors still lead the NBA but the Cleveland Cavaliers are fading

3) Villanova remains the top College Basketball team in the country

National Football League (NFL)

Cheese Steaks and Clam Chowda – that’s the talk of the NFL as the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots advanced to the Super Bowl with victories Sunday.

The Super Bowl at a glance:

Teams: Philadelphia Eagles amd New England Patriots

Time: Sunday, February 4th, 6:30pm ET

Location: Minneapolis, MN

The Eagles lost starting quarterback Carson Wentz to a late-season injury but rode backup Nick Foles to a blowout victory over the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Championship. This is the Eagles’ third Super Bowl appearance (they are 0-2 in previous games). Interestingly, the last time Philadelphia made the Super Bowl, after the 2004 season, they lost to…wait for it…The New England Patriots.

Familiar dance…This is the New England Patriots’ eighth Super Bowl appearance (5-2 in previous games) with star QB Tom Brady seeking his record sixth Super Bowl win.

Not a fan of the game? Don’t despair, Justin Timberlake should put on a fun Halftime performance, and the ads (which are going for $7.7 million for a 30-second spot) are often entertaining.

Need more off-field action? Here are recipes for food that will be gone by halftime.

National Basketball Association (NBA)

It’s not much fun being a Wisconsin sports fan. Their Green Bay Packers saw star QB Aaron Rodgers get injured and the team miss the playoffs, and now the Milwaukee Bucks fired head coach Jason Kidd Monday. Despite having young talent, including All-Star Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks are currently in 8th place in the Eastern Conference. #ColdWinter

On the other end of the spectrum, the Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors continue to sit atop the Eastern Conference while the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets pace the West.

What about LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers? They are a mess having lost nine of their last 12 games. Panic time in “The Land?” Almost.

College Basketball

Singing the Blues in the Bluegrass State. The University of Kentucky men’s basketball program dropped out of the top-25 rankings for the first time in nearly four years. Big-time UK fan Ashley Judd is not all pleased.

Tennis

The Australian Open is into its second week and women’s #1 Romanian Simona Halep is going strong. The lone US woman, Madison Keys, is still alive but faces former Aussie Open champion, German Angelique Kerber, in he Quarterfinals

The Men’s draw was shaken Monday when #1 Rafael Nadal retired in the fifth set due to injury, and #3 seeded Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov also lost.

#2 Roger Federer keeps advancing and is seeking his record-extending 20th major.
